How to send your email
When Action on Antisemitism sends you a campaign addressed to someone else — a councillor, minister, newspaper, regulator, company or other organisation (sometimes several at once, in one email), here's exactly what happens. Your email goes out from your own inbox — you're in control the whole way.
Open the campaign link
It might reach you on WhatsApp, by email, on social media, or shared by a friend — wherever you find it, clicktap the link to open the campaign. There's nothing to download or install.
However the link reaches you — a message, an email, a post — opening it works the same way.
Read what it's about, then tap "Take action"
The campaign page explains the issue and who you'll be writing to. When you're ready, tap the big button.
Your email opens, ready to send
Your own email app opens with the message already written to the recipient. Read it over — you can edit the wording first if you want to — then you're ready to send.
The email is sent from your address — that makes it count.
Press send — and share it on
On your computer, click Send in your mail window.On your phone, tap the Send arrow at the top of your mail app.
That's it. A hidden BCC lets Action on Antisemitism confirm your email arrived, so it counts towards the campaign total. Now pass it to friends and family — the more people act, the louder the message.

I got a "delivery failed" or bounce-back email — what do I do?
Don't worry, and you don't need to do anything. Some recipients' mailboxes are full, auto-reply, or briefly bounce messages — it's their inbox, not your action. Your email still went out from your account and still counts.
Please don't message us about it — there's nothing for you to fix and nothing we can change on their side. If you'd like, you can simply try again later, but it's genuinely fine to leave it.
Will the recipient see my email address?
Yes — the email is sent from your own inbox, which is exactly why it's taken seriously: it's clearly a real person, not a form. Whoever you're writing to can reply to you directly.
Can I change the wording?
Absolutely — the text is just a starting point. Adding a personal sentence or two in your own words makes it land far harder than a template alone.
How do I know it worked?
Once you press send, a hidden BCC confirms delivery and your action is added to the campaign's running total. You don't need to do anything else.
Nothing happened when I tapped "Take action".
The button opens your phone or computer's email app. If you use webmail (like Gmail or Outlook in a browser), set it as your default mail handler, or copy the text and paste it into a new message to the address shown on the page.
